My name is Meri Hakobyan, and I am proud to serve as the Treasurer of Erebuni Armenian School. I hold an MBA with a concentration in Finance and am also a proud graduate of the American University of Armenia (AUA), an institution that shaped my professional values of integrity, transparency, and service to the community. I currently work as a Financial Analyst at Harvard University, where I continue to strengthen my expertise in financial planning, analysis, and responsible stewardship.

By nature, I am soft-spoken and thoughtful, yet I believe in action more than words. I may not be the loudest voice in the room, but I make sure that things get done—with care, accuracy, and accountability. Transparency and strong teamwork with the school board made my transition into the role of treasurer smooth and meaningful. Seeing first-hand the dedication of the principal and the entire Erebuni team inspired my confidence and deepened my commitment to our shared mission.

With years of experience in finance, accounting, and mission-driven community work, I strive to bring both professionalism and heart to everything I do for the school. I strongly believe in responsible financial stewardship so that Erebuni Armenian School remains stable, sustainable, and able to grow for future generations.

I am honored to be part of a community that works tirelessly to preserve the Armenian language, culture, and identity. Together with the board and staff, I am committed to nurturing an environment where every child feels connected to their heritage, empowered in their education, and supported by a caring and united community.
