Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Building a Strong Foundation for Lifelong Learning

In kindergarten, children build phonemic awareness by recognizing sounds and learning letters to support early reading skills. They also express ideas through drawing and creative projects, explore music, and develop cooperative social skills and basic manners to support independence and classroom community.

    Our warm play-based preschool is where 3–4 year-olds build independence and social skills through guided play, storytelling, and word games while developing fine motor skills, attention, memory, and verbal speech.

    First Letters, First Words

    Older preschoolers deepen social-emotional skills through interactive activities while beginning Armenian phonics. Courtesy words like ‘barev’ are introduced through songs and role-play.

    Elementary

    Strong foundations in reading, writing, conversation, and Armenian culture.

    Letters Come Alive

    First grade teaches letters through interactive, playful lessons using textbooks, videos, and audio. Each lesson focuses on writing, phonics, reading, and word-recognition, followed by games and themed crafts tied to holidays and traditions.

    2nd Grade

    Reading Clicks, Writing Grows

    Second grade reinforces letter knowledge and advances reading and writing, emphasizing comprehension, sentence structure, spelling, and basic grammar. Students take part in team activities that foster social learning and explore cultural background.

    Writing Stories, Growing Independence

    Third graders strengthen thinking through collaborative projects while advancing Armenian reading comprehension and vocabulary, beginning to write short paragraphs and stories.

    Deeper Language, Deeper Culture

    Fourth graders read longer and more complex texts, expand their vocabulary, and begin writing original stories while deepening understanding of Armenian culture and history.

    History, Teamwork & Expanding Fluency

    Fifth graders strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening while expanding vocabulary. They explore Armenian history through interactive methods and project-based learning.

    Deeper language skills, stronger identity, and preparation for leadership and lifelong learning.

    6th Grade

    Research, Heritage & Creative Projects

    Sixth graders explore Armenian history and culture through research and multimedia projects, studying landmarks, literature, and poetry while fostering creativity and collaboration.

    Student-Led Learning & Advanced Fluency

    Seventh graders improve fluency across reading, writing, speaking, and listening while expanding vocabulary through literature and student-centered research and collaborative projects.

    Mastery, Legacy & Completion

    Eighth graders master advanced fluency across all skills through student-led lessons and research projects, concluding with a comprehensive 100-question assessment to measure mastery.
